It’s an exciting Tuesday for your Irvine real estate blogger… today, I will enter the gates of Shady Canyon for the first time. The occasion? I’m getting a peek at Casa California, a “Design House of Distinction” that’s open to the public through November 8th.
“A new home by Finton Construction and designed by John Henderson of Spectrum Architecture in the exclusive community of Irvine’s Shady Canyon with top designers from Orange County and Los Angeles. The House evokes the glamour and sophistication of the Wallace Neff period with an emphasis on timelessness and contemporary sensibility.”
Tour tickets costs $35 per person if you buy in advance, $45 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Philharmonic Society of Orange County’s youth education programs. Stay tuned for photos and details from my sojourn…
Also… make sure to check out my colleague Jeff Collins’ Q&A with Geoffrey Edmunds, the developer behind the resurrected 3000 The Plaza condo tower. Edmunds gives his predictions on Orange County’s real estate market and tells why he believes there’s a market for luxury high-rises, but not mid-price or lower end high-rises.
What’s on your mind this fine Tuesday?
